These Terms explain how our website works, how orders are handled, and what we both agree to when you shop with us. By using our site or placing an order, you're agreeing to these Terms. If something doesn't sit right with you, please don't use the site.
1. Who We Are Love's Not Zero Sum is a community-centered brand offering apparel, jewelry, accessories, and related experiences. Our store is for personal, non-commercial use unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Questions? Find us on our Contact page.
2. Who Can Shop You must be of legal age in your area or have a parent or guardian's permission. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or placing an order.
3. Using Our Site Please use the site respectfully and lawfully: don't interfere with other users, attempt unauthorized access, or do anything that damages or overloads the site. We may update or change the site at any time.
4. Products We do our best to show products accurately, but screen colors vary, and because most items are hand-finished, there may be slight differences in size or appearance. Stock isn't guaranteed. We reserve the right to limit quantities, change or discontinue products, and correct any errors, including pricing.
5. Pricing & Payment All prices are in US dollars and may change, but not for orders already accepted. When you order, you agree to pay the full amount due, using a payment method you're authorized to use. Payments are handled by third-party processors but we'll always do our best to help if something goes wrong on their end.
6. Orders Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline orders for reasons like stock issues, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If we can't fulfill a paid order, we'll cancel it and refund you. Your order is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email and we begin processing it.
7a. Shipping & Delivery Shipping details, costs, and timelines are covered in our Shipping Policy. Once your order is with the carrier, risk passes to you, though we'll always try to help if something goes wrong in transit.
7b. Kindness Kits Kindness Kits are a special product and work a little differently from our other orders.
Addresses are printed directly from the information you provide. Please double-check everything before submitting; we're not able to correct address errors after an order is placed, and we're not responsible for kits that don't arrive due to inaccurate or incomplete addresses.
Kindness Kits are also the only product we ship without tracking. Once they're in the hands of USPS, we have no visibility into their journey. We'll always do our best to help if something seems to have gone wrong, but we're not responsible for delays, misdeliveries, or losses caused by USPS once the kit has shipped.
If something feels off, reach out. We'll try to make it right wherever we reasonably can.
8. Returns & Refunds Our Returns & Refunds Policy covers everything you need to know about returns, exchanges, and refunds. It's part of these Terms, so please read it before ordering.
9. Our Intellectual Property Everything on this site: text, images, artwork, designs, characters (including Spirits of Humanity and Equality), logos, and layout belong to us or is licensed to us. You're welcome to share links and use our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our content commercially without written permission.
10. Your Content & Community When you share reviews, photos, stories, or other content with us, you're confirming that it's yours to share, it doesn't infringe anyone's rights, and it reflects the respectful spirit of this community. You give us permission to use it to share and celebrate that content as part of our brand and we'll credit you where it makes sense. We may edit or remove content at our discretion.
11. Third-Party Links Our site may link to third-party services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices. Please review their terms before using them.
12. No Guarantees Our site and products are provided as-is. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that all information will always be perfectly up to date. Where the law requires implied warranties, we limit them to the minimum allowed.
13. Liability We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. If something does go wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid for the specific order involved. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer protection law.
14. Your Responsibilities You agree to cover any losses we incur because of your misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of a third party's rights.
15. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the site means you accept any updates. If you don't agree, you're free to stop using the site.
16. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, USA. We'd always rather resolve things together informally first; please reach out if something isn't right.
17. If Part of This Doesn't Hold If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
